October 18th- Worked on Sports Show. As usual, set up audio for show; checking volume, fixing a broken xlr's and double checking all audio before start of show. Also, Robert and I wrote the script for the show and did quick fact checking on the computer. Show was scheduled to start at 2 but due to technical difficulties it didn't start till later.
After the taping of the show, Robert and I stayed after to learn how to log and capture, edit the video and upload the video to YouTube Again, we encountered more difficulties which took over an hour and a half to navigate around. The issues was uploading the correct file, and along with YouTube and iTunes, a variety of other places gave us issues while trying to upload the file. Eventually, Tony figured out the source of the problems and the video was uploaded a few days later.

October 5th
I have done a lot of work over the past 2 weeks. Multiple Sports Talk with Tony and Robert, in addition to having one postponed after 30-40 minutes of trying to work on fixing the internet. This is great practice for setting up before the show starts, learning to transition to new topics and being able to have a friendly, yet knowledgeable debate.
Also, I worked on the Sports Show this week. I learned how to work the audio and learned how to handle if the person speaks too low/too high. In addition, I now know how to work the teleprompter and know how the show operates in almost all facets of the operation.
Finally, I helped Katie Becker on the golf package, along with Merrick Letgucki and Natalie Mark. The first thing we did was shoot on-site shots and interview current golf players and the golf coach. We took our time trying to get perfect shots of the course, the players and the players in action (i.e. practicing on the putting green). As Fall Break nears, I hope to attend a few sports games and gather some film for them.
