September 5th- Worked on the Sports Show. I learned how to properly use the audio equipment and observed other important tasks that are essential to run the show. I now know how to operate the audio machine, control the microphone volume levels efficiently, and how to manage people who talk to loud/soft. In addition, I saw how the operation as a whole works: how to get different shots, how to work the teleprompter, and how to run the show as a director.

Total- 4 hours.

September 1st, 2012

August 30th- I attended the Florida Southern men's soccer home opening game and learned a variety of different useful tips and techniques on how to efficiently operate the video camera. For example, I learned how and when to zoom, what to focus on during a stoppage of play, and how to take notes of important plays during the games.

The game itself was exciting and the team lost in double overtime against a squad that was nationally ranked. It was a very exciting game, and I was excited to film and watch the game.
